Impotence Pumps |
|
Impotence or erectile dysfunction can be caused by many things including but not limited to high or low blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, smoking, heart disease and male hypogonadism. All of these causes with the exception of infant diabetes or hypogonadism are preventable and can be reversed. This is not to say all cases of impotence or erectile dysfunction are not able to be treated, as all cases have some form of treatment. Impotence or erectile dysfunction has drug treatments as well as penis pumps or ED pumps. Penis pumps or ED pumps are the most common treatment for impotence. Impotence is the inability to keep or begin an erection, and this is caused by the blood vessels in the penis being constricted so no blood can flow through to engorge the area. Erections are caused when blood engorges the penis, and the blood vessels constrict after the blood enters the area to keep the erection. Impotence can be treated with surgery called a penile implant, but this is a last resort. Impotence ED pumps or penis pumps come in many shapes and sizes; some with battery powered pumps and others with hand pumps. Your doctor will work with you to find the best solution for your impotence. You do not however have to have a prescription for ED pumps or penis pumps. These can be bought through your local pharmacy with a prescription, or from many diabetes storefronts as well as at adult book stores. These pumps are made of a few constriction bands, a pump and a plastic tube. The penis is inserted into the plastic tube on the open end, and placed inside the constriction bands. The pump is used to retrieve air from the pump causing the pressure to be higher outside the tube than inside. This causes the penis to become engorged, thereby creating an erection. |
